The peel and rind of citrus fruits contain bioflavonoids in abundance. Bioflavonoids are a vibrant substance often found in foods that contain vitamin C that are essential for its correct absorption. In addition to helping our systems absorb vitamin C, bioflavonoids have antioxidant properties that prevent cell damage from free radicals, maintain collagen, and improve capillary strength.
